Our Clients took on the lease of this former changing room block near the Ilsham Valley. After a thorough refurbishment, formation of new wheelchair accessible toilets and a lovely seating deck, the community café was born.
The re-use of this dilapidated building has brought about socio-economic benefits to local area. The Friends of Stoodley Knowle have created a wildflower meadow and the area is alive with adults and children playing and enjoying the green open space, all supported by these cohesive community facilities.
Further recognition of the project success came as a finalist in the LABC Building Excellence Awards in 2019.
