We were asked to add additional living space with a woodburner; a design that we complimented with a vaulted ceiling and rooflights. Asymmetrical glazing was inserted in the gable end of the new extension. This also wrapped around the corner to provide further view to the garden. Light, bright and airy space complete with a sense of calm.
At first floor level, we organised the existing rooms, enlarged some of the bedrooms, built a new one and added en-suite bathrooms. We also increased the size of the balcony and redesigned it to improve the views.
As families grow, so does the space needed. This is fine example of how clever use of space, both original and new, can create a fresh living environment.
